The case is sturdy, and does the job.

The sticky tabs are convenient and hold the case securely on my phone. The front cover seemed to be a little wiggly at first near the button cutout, but the glue tabs caught up overnight and hold it solid.

The front cover is a little tall on one side, but it matches the height of the camera bump so the device lays fairly flat while open.

The hinge knows are unobtrusive, and they are convenient to rest my fingers against in landscape mode.

The kickstand is sturdy and the phone feels secure to use propped up when the phone is open or closed. The only downside is that the kickstand holds the fingerprint sensor facing down, cutting off access in that mode. Supplemented by face unlock or Trust Agents, this is a non-issue.

I continue to be impressed with Spigen quality.

Cheap Kickstand Cracked and Broke

The case is not good quality and is far too expensive for the lack of quality that you get. The cheap plastic of the kickstand snapped at its thinnest point with normal use. The angular design of the case traps dirt and dust in the angles and can't be cleaned out including by the cameras and earpiece. The adhesive tape supplied failed to maintain proper adhesion after just about 1 week of use. The kickstand, the main reason I bought this case, was a huge disappointment. It was far too weak and flimsy and was difficult to open and close after each use. If you trim your fingernails, good luck opening it without nails or something pointy to pry the kickstand open. Also, the case was easily scratched and it was extremely noticeable that the plastic was soft. It didn't look good after just a few days of use.
I would highly recommend other cases since this one was rather expensive for some really cheap plastic.

I bought this case in May and was overall enjoying it. I didn't mind a bit of bulkiness, and I got used to the metal hinges protruding on both ends (although I would have preferred if they were flush with the rest of the case). I thought the case did a decent job of protecting my phone but unfortunately, I dropped my phone once, and the case did not survive the fall. Once the bottom of the case cracked, it would no longer stay secured to the phone, so I had to get a new one. If you're less clumsy than I, then I would recommend this case to you.

There is nothing wrong with this case. It was what I expected when ordering. Its nice and thin.

Yes, its made of plastic
Yes, the kickstand is thin (to support wireless charging through it)
Yes, the silver hinge knobs stick out like in the picture.
Is it worth 60$? Considering there isn't another case like this.. I guess? I have the leather kickstand case from Samsung and hated dealing with the cover being the kickstand.

I just got this today and do not have a problem with it at all. If the silver caps fall off (like in another review for this product) or I have any other issue.. I will update this review.

Boy! Do I love technology! It makes our day to day lives just a bit more easier, and helps us to kick back, and relax. And the first thing I bought to go along side my Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3 was this phone case to protect my $1800 investment. The reason I bought this phone case over others was because it had a built in kickstand which made watching videos awesome. The instructions do note to be careful, but unfortunately, it isn't the strongest stand, and broke after a few weeks of use. Which is like carrying around a dead phone. "But wait!" You may be asking? You still have a phone case. Isn't that good enough? Let's talk about the, in my opinion, the second reason I bought this phone case.

The phone case comes in two pieces, and while the back cover was solid like a rock, the front cover drove me insane! It wouldn't sit flush, and didn't stick well, even after applying new stripes (thankfully included). My phone took a tumble, and after it hit the floor, the front cover popped off. Thankfully the screens didn't break, but it was in that moment I decided to move on to something different.

With all that being said, if you are looking for a case for your Samsung galaxy z fold 3, you should look elsewhere. The kickstand, which is its biggest selling point, fails after the slightest touch, and the case itself becomes a frustrating mess if you are someone who is particular about things lining up, and staying put. I shouldn't have to be conscious every time I go to use my phone's kickstand, and I wish the reviews I read told me about that before I made my purchase.

It holds the phone at a perfect angle, and if you have ever had a phone with a kickstand from Spigen, then you know what to expect. Adhesives were already in place. Just peel and attach. Lastly, I feel safe with this case if I were to drop my $2000.00 phone.

It did a decent job at protecting the phone from falls. The only damage to the big screen was only because it fell off the samsung car mount and it landed expanded side down on something. The case really didn't want to adhere to the phone even with the extra adhesive strips, so it would move around a little when the phone was closed/opened. This caused the pre applied screen protector on the small screen to peal at the edges as the case moved back and forth over it. The knobs sticking out were really annoying because they add even more height to the phone and made the fit in my pockets kind of odd because one of them would poke the bottom of the pocket. The stand is very flimsy and lasted almost 5 months before it broke off at one of the knobs. It still kinda hangs on to the second knob so it half works. I didn't even do anything to the stand. One day I opened it and it was just broken already. Even before it broke I could just tell the stand was super flimsy plastic.

Well built and nice fitting case. It allows the unit to be propped up for viewing and this works well without adding any bulk to the case. The section that folds out to allow this does appear to be a bit flimsy, but sufficient for the task. In my opinion it's a reasonable trade-off to minimize the added bulk.

The main issues are that the case does not protect the hinge when the phone is folded and also does NOT support the S Pen. Another issue is that the hinges used to accommodate the fold out section project out about 1/4" from the body of the phone and are a shiny metal color that in my opinion does not match the black plastic of the case. These hinges also prevent the stand from supporting the phone vertically since the phone rocks from side to side when placed in this orientation. Nevertheless, overall good value for money if you do NOT have the S-pen.

If you do have the S-Pen it is possible to combine the back portion of this case with the front portion of the Spigen case that does accommodate the S-Pen. The fit of the combined cases is flawless and although the plastics used are slightly different in real world use the difference is not very noticeable. One wonders why Spigen did not simply release the combined cases as a single item and charge a bit more for the functionality. Perhaps they really want to sell two cases ...

The only thing missing from the combined cases is hinged protection for the folded phone, but I guess that would have added an unreasonable level of complexity.
