Worst Customer Service Possible - Terrible Product
In summary: Incredibly bad customer service (had me destroy my headphones without notice that replacements are discontinued; was not allowed to receive similar type of 'Epic' earbuds) - Do yourself a favor and just stay away!I've had 2 sets of the previous versions of these headphones - Epic Air Sports - all discontinued now.Both sets have broken within the span of a few months.On 1 pair the headphone gestures stopped working and on the other the sound stops being produced by the left earbud.The latest one was a replacement pair for the original. I had to ask for another replacement paid since the left ear bud stopped producing ANY sound. Although frustrated at this point, I figured since they have a warranty, trying 1 more pair out one last time would be worth it. Last time, I received a new pair (equal pair to what I had) with no issues after submitting all proper documentation Their support emailed me back asking me to destroy the current pair of headphones and show proof of this in order to activate a warranty claim.I thought it was a strange request, but I did it (picture attached). After which I was given a credit for $50 to buy a new pair. I could not buy a new pair because they had them discontinued. They never mentioned that before telling me to destroy what I did have.I couldn't buy any headphones because none of the equivalents were $50. I was told that I could NOT get these Epic Air Sport Earbuds since they were a version ahead of what I had.This was completely untrue - every pair I have owned were part of the 'Epic' tier, my previous replacements were 'Epic' earbuds despite having to send me a new kind since the ones that initially broke were discontinued. So here we are again in the same spot and they not only had me destroy mine, NOT tell me they weren't offering the exact same kind anymore, but also not give me a replacement of the same caliber (as they previously did)! Instead I was told that there's nothing that could be done.This is by far the absolute worst customer service experience I've gone through with the product itself not lagging far behind that (2 faulty/broken pairs of headphones). Why would you EVER tell me to destroy the product and then not send a new one in? - They also 'moderate' the reviews on their website and would not let me post this directly on their website.
