This case has been a great surprise! I’ve stuck to Otterbox and Lifeproof for years. After finding out the reason I kept having screen problems was because of the life proof, I decided to start doing some case research.
This is for my iPhone XS Max.

I called the hitcase company & they said “So, what would you like us to do about it?”
I asked them to replace it and they said “Sorry, not our problem”
It would have been the perfect case if the charging port flap and button covers hadn’t ripped so soon

A must-have for snorkeling/harsh weather. Has hole for lanyard

My old, highly used Hitcase is starting to wear out so I bought this one. So far it works perfectly. My wife and I work for the airlines and snorkel as much as possible. It’s so nice to be able to take pictures and video underwater and to have it instantly in your photo album with no extra camera and clutter like we used to do. I’ve also used this brand of case for fishing and hiking in soaking rain and they work great. I like how Hitcase’s lenses have a small raised metal border that protects it from scratches and they also have a hole for a lanyard which keeps me from dropping/ loosing my phone when I get smashed in the surf or want to go hands free. One thing thing to consider is that it can be super difficult to open the camera and switch between recording video and taking pictures when your fingers and the screen are wet and is impossible while underwater. The easiest way for me, is to start recording video before I enter the water and just edit the wanted clips out of the entire recording. The only things that I would dock it stars for, is that the couple of times I’ve used speakerphone, people on the other end tend to complain that there is an echo. I’m not completely sure if that’s because of this case. For day to day use, I use a regular phone case so I haven’t really investigated it. The back does seem to scratch pretty easy too but otherwise a great case.
