Customer Reviews, including Product Star Ratings help customers to learn more about the product and decide whether it is the right product for them.
To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average. Instead, our system considers things like how recent a review is and if the reviewer bought the item on Amazon. It also analyzed reviews to verify trustworthiness.

This phone is just what I needed. It is a rugged little phone to keep in a pocket when exercising, and a smart phone is too fragile and expensive to work with. Also, it is 4G/LTE, so it will be around long after 2G and 3G are gone. Sure, a flip-phone dates a person, but we are talking pragmatism here.
I got a new flip phone because my old one was having battery issues, only lasting 4 to 5 days.I had to get a new sim from my provider and have it activated, much effort and hours with tech support etc. Now my new phone won't hold a charge for 2 days POS. shopping for another phone, but not this brand, way to much work to get a simple phone...
Pros, big buttons, 4g and WiFi calling access, simple flip phone for seniors not techno savvy, great talk text coverage in my area.
Cons, would be nice to have designated memory buttons for seniors. No manual was included with the box, so took some playing around to do set up.
Summary, purchased for my 80 year old mom for emergency use. Phones bandwidth work great in her area where she gets 4g access. Purchased a different flip phone earlier with better senior phone features but the bandwidth was not sufficient and service access was spotty. This Alcatel works great on Tmobile. I would purchase again and or recommend, but it would be nice to have some senior non techie users features added to it.
After three days of working with the Pure Talk and AT&T technicians they still could not get the Mobile Network & Data to connect to my cell carrier. There was nothing wrong with the phone, basically AT&T would not release the phone for use with another carrier.
Despite its claim of being unlocked and fully compatible with Verizon’s network, this phone is NOT compatible with Verizon. I activated my Verizon account and obtained a verified Verizon SIM card that worked perfectly on other unlocked phones, then discovered that this phone will not work on the Verizon network. Verizon tech support confirmed this as they were directing my troubleshooting efforts.
I purchased this phone for my elderly brother and took the phone to a T-Mobile store to activate. The sales representative could not get the phone to connect to the internet. To my surprise and further review the sales representative said that the serial numbers on the phone were connected to stolen property, (the phone was stolen). The rep. then questioned my character by asking me where the phone was purchased. I was so embarrassed and outdone. I will never ever purchase a phone from Amazon or yourself again.
