Square Enix plans to support a new, 64-bit version of the FINAL FANTASY XIV application with the start of early access for FINAL FANTASY XIV: Shadowbringers. Below are the minimum system requirements for the new Mac 64-bit application:

After 10 hours into the game it has you go through "training" for your class and how to play an MMO with your specific character class. This should be done with all MMOs so that players are taught the mechanics of how dungeons and raids will go throughout the game.

Trash game crashes on launch. As soon as you go through the trouble of creating a square-enix account and getting a 2 factor launcher setup, the game will spike your Ram to the full 132GB size fo the game and fail. I cannot get past inputting my registration code and even deleting my own characters and starting a fresh account just to get it to run. Updated to the correct OS version suggested and have 16gb of Ram with an i7 chip. Can't even return this hot garbage because it's a digital code. You aren't even allowed to register the game to your account on the square enix account management page, because the redemption code syntax is different than having bought a physical copy. DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME!

I can’t even run it to install it. I just lost $22. So annoying. The game installs but as soon as I log in, it says that I am out of application memory and crashes. Do no waste your money. Does not work on OSX. I tried on the newest M1 MacBook Pro.

Spikes my Mac's RAM to max and then crashes my whole OS. Never even got passed the registration code section. Square Enix needs to stop selling broken products, especially when there is a strict no refund policy.
