update: 5 years later and it still sucks. Works properly 10% of the time. Disconnects constantly. Especially irritating when fastforwarding or rewinding and you cant stop it until you reconnect again...every time. It is not my internet provider, and all of my other apps and devices have no issues. Not a great app. Currently it is no longer recognizingg my fire stick, and I have re-signed in and rebooted both several times.

Like most others, disconnecting and the long press on left/right/volume etc. Is super annoying. I can only use it properly from my notifications list. However now it won't even find either one of my Fire tvs in the app anymore to even use it. I uninstalled and reinstalled the app +cleared cookies and cache. Still nothing. The app sucks.

I have used this app for about 3 years now and it seems to just get worse with time it has problems loading and it has problems connecting and then it will totally cut you off and the fire stick itself is just about as worthless I would suggest getting a Roku instead it is a little more generic looking but it works extremely better then the fire stick
